IRS Virtual Information Session for Individuals with Disabilities (Schedule A)
At the IRS, we believe in the abilities of all our employees, and we’re committed to hiring qualified individuals at all levels of our organization. Our goal at the IRS, as an employer of individuals with disabilities, is to be a model within the federal government and for companies in the private sector. During this information session, we will provide an overview of IRS benefits, the Schedule A hiring program and documentation requirements, how to apply for positions with the IRS, and provide tips for creating an effective resume. Special Agent Positions
Criminal Investigation is the investigative and law enforcement arm of the IRS. When individuals or corporations deliberately don’t comply with the tax laws, Criminal Investigation responds with financial investigations and potential criminal prosecutions to promote compliance and confidence in the fairness of the tax system. Special Agents investigate violations of Federal tax laws; obtain and analyze complex financial evidence; conduct surveillance, undercover operations, and so much more! Veterans & Military Spouses - Virtual Information Sessions
As part of the IRS workforce, your efforts will help make America stronger as we continue to support the nation’s most vital programs, from Homeland Security to America’s defense, to Social Security — as well as programs and projects that are a bit closer to home, like parklands and forests, roads and bridges, libraries, museums, schools, and more. During this information session, we will provide an overview of IRS benefits, Veteran preferences, direct hiring appointments for Veterans and Military Spouses, documentation requirements, how to apply for positions with the IRS, and provide tips for creating an effective resume. We will discuss some of the positions currently being offered by the IRS.
National African American History Month – Virtual Recruitment Event
The IRS is committed to cultivating a diverse workforce by strengthening its ability to recruit, hire, develop, promote, and retain our Nation’s talent and remove barriers to equal opportunity. During this virtual information session, we will discuss the historical importance of African American History Month, hear from representatives of Blacks in Government (BIG), an IRS Employee Organization, and we will discuss IRS career opportunities and share resources to assist you with your job search. You will learn about IRS benefits, IRS Pathways for students and recent graduates, effective resume writing, and the application process. You will also hear from employees about their personal experiences working for the Agency.

Intake Technician (Intake Advocate) Positions
We are hosting a virtual information session about our Intake Technician positions with the IRS Taxpayer Advocate Service. Intake Technicians assist taxpayers who are unsuccessful resolving their tax related inquiries through normal channels. In this position you will provide administrative and technical assistance involving a wide range of issues related to tax-processing requirements and procedures. Click below to register today!
