The IRS Pipeline is a collaborative hiring initiative between the USDA Food and Nutrition Service, US HHS Administration for Children and Families, US DOL Employment and Training Administration, State government agencies, and other Community Based Organizations that prioritizes filling entry level positions at the Internal Revenue Service.

During this virtual information session, you will learn about IRS Benefits, the application process, and hear from IRS employees who will give you a better understanding of the work done by Clerks day-to-day. Clerks perform a variety of administrative tasks and duties associated with tax administration, which may include identifying and reviewing forms, preparing inventory reports, reviewing filed material, and transcribing and/or keying a variety of taxpayer documents. You can qualify for these positions without any previous IRS experience, and no tax-related experience is required. All you need is a high school diploma OR 6 months of experience doing clerical-type work. We will also provide step-by-step assistance with the application process.
